How do I place a digit?

Tap an empty cell to open the ring of digits, then tap or flick toward the digit you want. On the Mac, move with the arrow keys and type the number. On Apple Watch, tap a box to zoom in, then turn the Digital Crown to pick a digit. The in-app How to play walks through the rest.

Are the puzzles fair?

Yes. Every board has exactly one solution and is solved by logic before you see it — you never need to guess. The difficulty band sets which techniques a board may ask for.

My boards aren't on my other device

Nine syncs through your own iCloud account. Check that you're signed into the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on for Nine on both devices, then open Nine on each. Sync can take a minute.

Game Center

Leaderboards and achievements need Game Center, which you sign into in Settings (iPhone, iPad) or System Settings (Mac). Everything else works without it.

Do I pay again on another device?

No. Nine is one purchase on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, with the same Apple Account.
